Thanks to everyone who attended the hardest HOTN to date! Thank you to all of our volunteers, friends and family who came out and helped us so much! This was our best attended event to date and we really appreciate all the support and praise. Can't wait till HOTN 2014!

This will be the 5th year in a row that Real Deal Racing will be bringing you this early season classic!!
Our own 'Hell of the North' will be held early SUNDAY APRIL 7TH 2013 Starting / ending at the Cedar Beach Pavillion at Musselmans Lake. The epic 90km course from years past will now include 35 extra kms of the most amazing dirt and gravel roads around making this truly one of the hardest events of the year! It promises to test your early season fitness. As always the HOTN route will include rail trails, dirt roads and some of the area's nicest climbs.
NEW FOR 2012 and back for 2013!!!! HECK OF THE NORTH!!!! We now have an alternative route for anyone who wishes to be tested but does want to break their will or their bike the first weekend of the season. The HECK of the North is a 75 km route that will still include many of the amazing roads used in the HOTN but there are no off-road sections, farmers fields or the nasty trench. This means you can ride a regular road bike on this beauty. Both routes are sure to test you and both promise to be amazing day out on the bike!

This ride will test you. RealDeal Racing's Hell of the North is now 5 years old and every year is gets better and better. This ride is for everyone. From the seasoned racer to the first time rider, this is the ride for you! We always have great prizing and a light lunch is always included in the entry fee. Awards for the top overall male & female racers and new for 2013...THE KING OF THE SPRING!! We have a 4 event series that includes the Steaming Nostril, Tour de Bronte and the Paris to Ancaster. Enter all 4 to have a chance to win the crown
Hell
Cyclocross bike and mountain bikes. There are sections you will have to dismount. Road bikes are not recommended. Mtb shoes and pedals are!Heck
Ok for road bikes. Shorter distance and only gravel/dirt roads to slow you down. Leave the $10,000 bike at home though.
Registration - Online
Sign in and Number Pick Up is available inside the Cedar beach pavilion on Musselmans lake at 7am on the 7th.
Please note all riders must sign a Canadian Cycling Association waiver.
Day of registration is CASH only.
Registration Fees:
January to midnight April 1st – $50 plus HST & Administration Fee
April 2nd to midnight April 5th – $65 plus HST & Administration Fee
Event Day - $75 (includes registration fee & HST) -
"Day of" registration is CASH only!
Included in your registration fees will be morning coffee and muffins, first aid support, rest stop beverages/snacks and a light meal after the race. You will have your choice of soup/chili with rolls and a hot beverage and bottled water.
